            Mom’s present

Mom’s birthday is over a week. I want to buy her a beautiful vase of R115 but I have only saved up R60 as I get R20 a month. I decide to do little jobs to earn more money so I can buy my mom a present. I go outside to the garage and ask Dad if I can wash the car.”Dad, may I wash the car ?””Certainly, my child. I will pay you R10. While I wash the car I make the sum. Now I have R70. I go to the neighbors next. They have a dog in need of a bath. I knock on the door.”Yes?” asks an elderly woman.”May I bath your dog?”,I ask.”Of course ,honey, of course”. Now run along. Fifi is in the backyard. I will pay you R35.”After I bathed Fifi she gave me the money. Now I have R105. I decide to go to dad again. ”Dad, can I rake the leaves?””Yes, I will pay you R10 for that.” So, after I raked the leaves I had R115.The very next day I bought  the vase for mom. She said it was the best birthday present ever!
